Flute Calculator Layout 1.1.1 - a free gadget for Vectric VCarve Pro and Aspire
From naflutecalculator.com

INSTALL
1. In VCarve or Aspire, choose Gadgets > Install New Gadget... and pick
"Flute Calculator Layout.vgadget". (Or copy the folder "Flute Calculator
Layout" into your Vectric Gadgets folder and restart.)
2. It appears under the Gadgets menu as "Flute Calculator Layout".

USE
1. Design your flute at naflutecalculator.com and click "Copy code for VCarve".
2. Make a job the size of the board shown in the calculator's "Take it to the
shop" card (it includes a 1" clamping margin). Material thickness = the
thickness shown there. Z zero on the material surface.
3. Run the gadget, paste the code, check the bits, click "Draw flute".
4. It draws both halves on layers starting with "Flute" and creates the
toolpaths: bore (ball nose passes), breath hole, finger-hole grooves,
alignment pins, air path (exit hole, ramp, flue, sound hole, splitting
edge), direction holes and, last, the outline cut through with tabs.
   Preview and save as usual.
5. After cutting, cut through the tabs and sand the stubs flush.

The clamping margin (default 1") stays bare wood on every side for clamps or
screws. Sizes can be typed as decimals, fractions (1/4) or with units (6.35 mm).

Default bits: 1/4" ball nose (bore), 1/8" ball nose (finger holes),
1/8" end mill (air path, pins, direction holes), 1/4" end mill (outline).
Change any of them in the dialog; your choices are remembered.
